The Poor Knights of Christ

Everyone has heard of the Templar knights but not many know that they were only a small force at the beginning, tasked with protecting the pilgrims on their way to Jerusalem and that their name comes from their headquarters located in the Old Temple. As time passed they became more and more powerful proving both military and economic prowess. They met their tragic end by the hand of a French monarch and their demise gave birth to myths and legends that persist to this day. I highly suggest you read a bit into them so that you may discover a group of warriors that truly represented the ideas Christianity teaches. Ah yes, avoid most conspiracy theory bullshit. It’s insulting both from a historical point of view as well as a spiritual one. This is another one I will definitely redo.
